Judgement in the centre of the Matrix of Destiny
Mechanics. A feeling comes off you that a person is standing before something important. You can sum things up: say aloud what has been going on for years, and after your sentence people reconsider their story, and some call you a year later to say that conversation changed everything. Those who have ripened usually hear you. You do not let the past go easily, but you do not drag it pointlessly either: you remember everything that happened and know how to use it, putting events together into a meaning that others see only afterwards. You are often called at the moment of a turning point. Divorce, dismissal, a move, illness, and for some reason you are the first one told.
Works when a line must be drawn and a start made again: rehabilitation, a second chance, restoring what was destroyed, work with people at a breaking point, any task where the point is not to condemn but to help understand and move on. You can forgive for real, not in words, and that changes people more than any advice. Your forgiveness is not about "forgot": you remember everything in detail and still leave the person the right to the next chapter, and few can endure that.
Breaks when assessment becomes the background of life. You revisit your own deeds from ten years ago and pass sentence on yourself again, the same every time, and along the way you assess others: this one lived in vain, that one fizzled out, her life is all wrong, and you do not say it aloud, but people feel it. The second failure is living in expectation of the moment. The real thing will begin later, after the big event, and meanwhile a draft is being written.
What it looks like:
- A person remembers a conversation with you years later, and you do not remember it at all.
- Old mistakes surface in your head before sleep, and it is not a memory but a trial, where you are both the accused and the prosecutor, and no one has ever acted as the defence.
- You put off the important until "a new life starts".
What to do.
- Close one old matter a month for good: with a letter, a talk, a decision.
- Appoint a defender: say aloud that in those circumstances you had no other options, and name the specific circumstances.
- Do not wait for a turning point. Begin today with something small, and that will become the turning point.
Takeaway: you are heard at the main moments; do not put off your own main moments until later.
